Health 2
This only applies to herds on the relevant service.
These notes are intended as a guide to complete the Health 2 section.
FERTILITY
These results can be taken from your latest milk recording records or herd management program. Include the latest '12 month rolling' result for each month.
Days to First Service
The average number of days from calving to 1st service.
Services per Conception
The average number of services per cow that gets in calf.
Calving Interval
The herd's average number of days in between calvings.
Conception rate
Conception rate is the number of cows conceiving and maintaining a pregnancy divided by the number of services.
100 Day in Calf Rate
This is the number of cows pregnant within 100 days of calving. It describes how many cows will calve within 13 months of their previous calving. This takes into account all cows within the herd not just cows with an event.
200 Day Not in Calf Rate
The percentage of cows intended for breeding which are still not pregnant by 200 days post calving. This indicates how many cows won't calve within 15-16 months of their previous calving.
LAMENESS STATUS
Lameness
A case of lameness is defined as when a lame foot needs to be 'picked up' and trimmed / treated.
Do not include where a foot is 'picked up' for a preventative trim.
Mobility Scoring

Mobility Scores -
0 - Walks with even weight bearing on all feet, no action needed.
1 - Uneven strides & steps uneven limb not easily identifiable.
2 - Uneven weight bearing on a limb which is immediately identifiable.
